Republicans Doing There Best to Keep Colorado Red

Colorado news publication Fort Collins Now ran an article claiming that Colorado is a battleground state in which the McCain-Palin ticket still has a strong chance to win. Despite the state's red history, the past presidential races have always been too close for comfort between Democratic and Republican candidates. Republican consultants in Colorado say that when it comes down to the actual vote, Obama and Biden's voting records will be too liberal to sway the general population of Colorado. They claim that the only Democratic success in the state has gone to those members of the Congress and the State Legislature that run on a moderate Democratic ticket. So, while Colorado reamains too close to call, Republican optimists still believe that in the end, it will be a Red state once again.
