Colorado Dubbed "Ground Zero" for Obama Campaign

The Obama campaign understands the important role that Colorado is going to play in the upcoming Presidential Election. Obama's campaign manager David Plouffe told supporters that Colorado could make all the difference on election day. Plouffe even went as far as to proclaim Colorado "ground zero" of the Obama campaign. As of polling on September 19, statewide polls showed McCain pulling ahead of Obama by 2% points. Both candidates understand that get out the vote efforts in the state are going to be crucial come election day. The last numbers released by Colorado's own Rocky Mountain News say that Obama has 30 campaign offices across the state.
