NRA Aiming for Obama in Colorado

The National Rifle Association will begin airing anti-Obama advertisements in Colorado this week. Specifically, the advertisements will attack Obama's voting record favoring anti-gun laws. The Colorado Independent reports from an interview with NRA spokeswoman Rachel Parsons, “ 'Now that we’ve started, it won’t stop until after the election.' The ads are running in Colorado, New Mexico and Pennsylvania, she said, as part of a 'very large, comprehensive campaign.' ” These ads will soon spread to other states where the NRA has pinpointed target audiences. All of the campaigns will end with “On November 4th, defend freedom. Defeat Obama,” and direct viewers to the NRA’s anti-Obama site.
